First Aid at Work Annual Refresher
The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) strong advise that first aiders should attend annual refresher training to brush up on their skills and keep their knowledge up to date. This half a day course (three hours) is intended for those who hold an in-date first aid at work qualification and covers essential learning from the first aid at work course.

What will you cover?
- Roles and responsibilities of a first aider
- Assessing an incident
- Managing unresponsive casualties who are breathing normally (including seizures)
- Managing unresponsive casualties who are not breathing normally (CPR & AED where applicable)
- External bleeding
- Shock
Assessment & Certificate
The assessment takes place continually over the course and ensures your knowledge, skills and understanding of essential first aid is kept up to date and inlign with current practices. There is no certification from this course.
Qualification Renewal
It is recomended your repeat this course annually in between your first aid at work and first aid at work re-qualification course.
