Firstly, we would like to apologise for the delay in releasing our 2020 COVID-19 statement. Both Adam and Stacey work full-time for the East Midlands Ambulance Service and so have been incredibly busy dealing with COVID-19 on the frontline.
We have continued to monitor the current government guidance closely and have taken the decision to cancel all of our face-to-face training sessions and courses until 01 August 2020. This decision will be reviewed mid-July.
In the mean time, we are currently looking at alternative ways we can still continue to provide training, and are looking into the possibility of offering a selection of our courses via distance learning. If you require any training course, please get in touch to discuss your options.
We are aware that some of our clients current certifications may be nearing their expiry date and require re-qualification courses. The HSE have recently announced that any qualification that expire on or after 16 March 2020, and are unable to attend a re-qualification course, will be extended by three months. This applies to First Aid at Work and Emergency First Aid at Work. You can read more here. The Royal Lifesaving Society UK have also announced that all regulated and non-regulated qualifications (due to expire between 16/03/2020-30/06/2020) will be extended by three months, to support qualification holders through this period of uncertainty. You do not need to contact the RLSS UK or apply for this extension as it will automatically applied to all qualifications. You can read more information here.
For the time being, please stay safe!
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
