Regulated Safeguarding Course
Safeguarding refers to how we can protect children, young people and vulnerable adults from abuse or neglect by the actions, or lack of actions of another person. To be able to protect people from abuse we need to learn how to identify vulnerable individuals and how to take necessary steps to avoid and stop abuse and neglect.
We are pleased to annouce that as part of our continual professional development, we are now able to offer the accreddited Level 3 Award in Principles of Safeguarding and Protecting Children, Young People or Vulnerable Adults (RQF). This qualification is designed for all persons, regardless of field, and covers how to recognise signs of abuse and neglect, and what actions you should take if you suspect abuse or neglect of a vulnerable person. Abuse, neglect and exploitation can occur anywhere and by anyone, usually a person a vulnerable person trusts or relies on.
All of our trainers have experience of working with and around children and vulnerable adults and have extensive safeguarding training through local authority employment and employment within the emergency services.
